The Fantastic Ford

Someone needs to cheer Ford for solving its own problems. GM is turning out to be a bottomless money hole. No matter how much money the get from Uncle Sam, they still need more. Conversely, Ford has taken responsibility for its own survival and is climbing out of its mess with a ladder that it built for itself through cost cutting, restructuring, debt conversion, brand sell offs, and renegotiating its labor contracts. Ford will come out on top of this crisis because it took responsibility for its own problems and did not rely on outside help.
