Capitalism VS Socialism

Many Americans believe socialism is better because the term capitalism has been distorted to mean greed rather than free markets. Capitalism is presented as condoning unethical behavior, but capitalism is not a moral philosophy. It is an economic philosophy in which people should apply morals. Capitalism does not advocate stealing or cheating. It advocates free and fair competition. Socialism penalizes winners and subsidizes losers. If someone says that they think socialism is better, take 3/4 of his or her paycheck and give it to a homeless alcoholic and explain to them that that is socialism in practice.
